Glittersniffer Cosmetics:

It took me a while to come up with something to write about this... I found Glittersniffer Cosmetics back in August/September of last year and was instantly in love... I am not Vegan but i respect those that are. And finding a company that promotes being 100% vegan was refreshing to see. I placed my 1st order with them for the charity collections... 3 sets... consisting of 18 colors... vibrant amazing colors I might add... with purchase it was said to include a free Rocker Chic collection which did not come in my package... so I emailed them about it & they shipped one out that week... I thought that was pretty cool how easy it was to email & get a fast response and not have to sit and wait. I continued purchasing small collections from them and almost always there was some form of a mistake... which they tried to correct as fast as possible. I understand having a child + your own company must be very difficult to juggle all at once.

I placed an order for a Halloween grab bag which was $15 and never received it, after waiting a few weeks I shot them an email & was told they were very sorry. I paid via paypal mobile and was told it probably didn't have a shipping address attached so it went unnoticed. She sent out a $25 grab bag & I was a very happy camper.

I noticed some of my colors didn't resemble the colors she had swatched but were still very vibrant and beautiful do I honestly didn't really care. I noticed some of the glitter in the pigments looked rather large for micro graded eye safe glitter but disregarded it, as the colors easily amused me. I began wearing all my colors & always received compliments on my eyes. I began recommending them to my friends & family.

For Christmas my boyfriend got me the Alice in Wonderland collection I was drooling over for a while and I couldn't wait to get it. What I got was ONE single pigment... Ariel... I was very upset as you can imagine. So I emailed them despite at the time the company was being complained about by many for lost packages, packages never received and items they didn't ask for being sent/substituted. The reply I got back had nothing to do with the email I sent...

sorry to bother I emailed yesterday & didn't get a response. I ordered the Alice in Wonderland collection (stocking stuffer from my boyfriend) and got a pot of Ariel instead. I'm attaching a picture of the paper that says Alice... but the envelope says Ariel... I'm guessing someone that ordered Ariel got my Alice in Wonderland..

Jessica, Unfortunately we have closed down business until we can implement some new guidelines and company policies. We anticipate being back within a month. If you haven't received your package within 10 days, please file a PayPal claim for your money back. XOXO

Now you can only imagine the rage I felt at that moment. I went ahead & filed a paypal claim, called paypal about another order that I never got which was a personal order between them & I, and about various orders that were incorrect and were never fixed. At the time the company was still getting numerous complaints about orders never being sent and refunds being issued only to "friends" of the company. I removed myself from the fan page, and the company owners personal page for my own personal reasons. I was also accused by one of the makeup groups I was in for being GS's "spy" which till this day I must laugh about. But I lost no sleep over online controversy, my lost was of respect for a company I looked up too so much. Later to find out some of the products we not vegan, the glitters were not eye safe & most of the pinks that were sold we not eye safe due to soap dyes used in them! We were also told the charity money never made it to the charities in which they were said they would go to.

I no longer support Glittersniffer's but I do still use my pigments and I am careful when using them. The colors are too beautiful to throw away. This has all been a learning experience for everyone who has associated themselves with GS and have felt betrayed by them. I hope everything goes well with what she does. I just can no longer purchase things that aren't safe and that I probably won't receive in the mail.

Back at it.*

Yes I'm back... won't be going away either. I've invested a lot of time and money into this and I'll be sticking with it. I have a facebook fan page and a youtube account, both will be linked here on this page. I've invested in tons of new products and I will be doing product reviews on them. I can't wait to set everything up and start!
